Yes, the world is bleak and I'm making those phone calls and marching in the street with my handmade sign. But having a new Alix E. I’m just a bookstore owner/bookseller, and I’m here to ask that you do your best not to carry any of that guilt about promoting yourself. The world sucks and people need escape. Every week I have folks come in who have recently finished one of your books and they are so happy they want to give me an in person review. To jump up and down and gush about it with us. The preorders I had for A Mirror Mended were amazingly out of control. Authors give us the gift of escape, joy, sadness, other worlds, (I could go on) and we need you. We need you!!!!! Easy for me to say, but have no shame.

Meanwhile, here’s a fun story about a kid with a laser sword in space.
